They’re a lifesaver for those hectic days when your schedule is jam-packed. All you have to do is dump the ingredients in the slow cooker and let it work its magic while you go about your day. By dinner time, it’s all set and ready to be enjoyed.
One of my all-time favorites is this Lemon Garlic Butter Chicken recipe. The seasoning is just perfect, and the refreshing touch of lemon adds a delightful twist. Trust me when I say this dish tastes amazing, especially when served over a bed of noodles. You will not be able to get enough of it.

Lemon Garlic Butter Chicken Ingredients
- Boneless skinless chicken thighs
- Salt and pepper (optional)
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Crushed red pepper flakes
- Paprika
- Italian seasoning
- Garlic cloves (minced)
- Butter
- Lemon zest
- Lemon juice
- Chicken broth
- Fresh parsley and lemon slices for garnish (optional)
Recipe Variations
- Can use boneless, skinless chicken breasts.
- Want to make it spicier? Add a teaspoon of red pepper flakes instead of ½ teaspoon.

How to Make Lemon Garlic Butter Chicken
Place the chicken thighs into a 8 quart slow cooker.
In a small bowl combine the chicken broth, lemon juice and lemon zest and stir. Pour all over the chicken thighs.
In a separate bowl combine all the dry seasonings (Italian seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper). Mix together and sprinkle over top of the chicken thighs.
Add minced garlic along with slices of butter spread out over top.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
Garnish with chopped parsley and sliced lemons. (optional) enjoy!

Ingredients
- 6-8 boneless skinless chicken thighs
- ½ tsp salt and pepper optional
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- ½ tsp paprika
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- ½ stick butter
- Zest of half a lemon
- Juice of one lemon
- ⅓ cup chicken broth
- Fresh parsley and lemon slices for garnish optional
