Strawberries and Cream Martini is a creamy, delicious cocktail perfect for a romantic evening or a girls’ night in.

Martini’s are a classic drink but this one steps it up a notch with the addition of Bailey’s Strawberries and Cream liqueur.
This creamy and sweet liqueur pairs perfectly with the tartness of fresh strawberries and the smoothness of vodka. The addition of strawberry simple syrup adds a touch of sweetness to balance out the flavors and make this martini even more delicious.
This pink cocktail would make a great drink to enjoy over Valentine’s day dinner with your significant other or to share with your girlfriends at a Galentine’s day celebration. It’s also a great drink to enjoy during the warmer months when fresh strawberries are in season.
And if I might recommend a Valentine dinner to pair this vodka martini with would be my bacon mushroom pork chops with rosemary potatoes. So good!

Strawberry & Cream Martini Ingredients
- Bailey’s Strawberries and Cream Liqueur: This liqueur is the base of our martini and brings in the creamy, sweet taste.
- Fresh Strawberries: For an authentic touch, use fresh strawberries as a garnish. I like to cut them into hearts for an added touch.
- Vodka: I used whipped vodka for an extra creamy dessert taste, but you could also use vanilla or cake vodka.
- Simple Syrup: To enhance the sweetness and strawberry flavor, I used strawberry simple syrup. You can make your own by cooking down fresh strawberries with sugar and water, or you can buy it pre-made at most grocery stores.
How to Make Strawberry Cream Martini
Start by washing and removing the stems from the strawberries. Cut into hearts if desired and set aside.
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine vodka, Bailey’s Strawberries and Cream liqueur and strawberry simple syrup.
Shake vigorously for about 30 seconds until combined and chilled.
Strain the mixture into chilled martini glasses and garnish with strawberry.
Tips for Making the Perfect Martini
- Chill your glassware in the freezer for at least 30 minutes. Chilled glasses help keep your cocktail colder for longer.
- Use high-quality vodka and Bailey’s Strawberries and Cream liqueur for a delicious and smooth taste.
- Experiment with different ratios. If you prefer a sweeter drink, adjust the amount of Bailey’s Strawberries and Cream liqueur and strawberry simple syrup in relation to vodka based on your taste preferences.
Recipe Variations
- Make it a chocolate covered strawberry martini by melting some dark or milk chocolate and dip the rim of your martini glass into it and allow it to harden.
- Change the flavor to a strawberry shortcake martini using cake flavored vodka.
- Try different flavor combinations using different liqueurs and vodka.
Pairing Suggestions and Serving Ideas
- Serve alongside a plate of fresh strawberries dipped in chocolate. The combination of sweet fruit with the creamy cocktail is simply fantastic!
- If you’re looking to create a dessert-like experience, serve it with a slice of moist sponge cake layered with juicy strawberries and whipped cream. The cake will perfectly complement the flavors of this drink.
- For those who prefer savory pairings, try serving the martini alongside a platter of cheese and charcuterie board. Cured meats like prosciutto or salami will give it some additional depth and cheeses like brie will bring out the sweetness of the martini.

I don’t even drink alcohol, but all the pink really caught my eye with this one! 😍 I actually think this is one cocktail that I could probably tweak *fairly* easily myself and make it non-alcoholic if I had a little look around the supermarket and saw what ingredients were available. I’ve been wanting to test out mocktails for a while now, so trying to turn existing drinks into non-alcoholic ones seems like a good place to start, before I try to create my own!
