    I can’t get enough of Slow Cooker Ritz Chicken! This dish is not only incredibly delicious but also remarkably effortless to make.

    In fact, it only takes about 5-10 minutes of prep work. The hardest part is waiting for it to cook so you can finally enjoy it.

    The combination of crushed Ritz Crackers and butter on top of the chicken breasts, smothered in a mixture of sour cream and cream of chicken soup, is simply divine.

    It’s a great way to switch up your chicken dishes and this recipe is the perfect hearty meal that’s comforting and sure to leave your family begging for more.

    Why We Love This Slow Cooker Ritz Chicken Recipe

    • Super easy to make – made with simple pantry ingredients, it can’t get much easier than dumping everything in a crock pot and letting it cook for you.
    • Perfect for busy nights – when you don’t have time to cook this is quick to set up 6-7 hours ahead of time to be ready for a delicious dinner when you get home.
    • A dish everyone loves – this recipe will be a new family favorite for it’s creamy sauce and delicious taste.

    What You Need

    • Boneless skinless chicken breasts
    • Cream of chicken soup
    • Sour cream
    • Crushed up Ritz cracker crumbs
    • Melted butter
    • Parsley

    Recipe Variations

    • Can swap cream of chicken soup for cream of mushroom soup.
    • Add a bit of a kick with some red chili flakes or cayenne pepper.
    • Can swap the 4 chicken breasts for 8 chicken tenderloins.
    • If you don’t have Ritz crackers on hand, you can crust the chicken with any kind of cracker or potato chips.

    How to Make Ritz Chicken

    In a medium sized bowl, mix cream of chicken soup and sour cream. Set aside.

    Melt butter in a microwave safe bowl and mix together with the crushed up Ritz crackers. Set aside.

    Spray the inside of an 8 quart slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray and place chicken breasts to the bottom of the slow cooker.

    Pour the soup and sour cream mixture over top of the chicken. Spread around with the back of a spoon making sure to cover the chicken.

    Sprinkle the Ritz crackers crumbs mixture over top making sure to coat evenly.

    Cover and cook on low 6-7 hours.

    Sprinkle parsley or green onion over top and serve!

    While this recipe is delicious all by itself, it does serve wonderfully over white rice or egg noodles. You could also add a side dish such as a salad, roasted veggies, sweet glazed carrots, green beans or garlic bread.

    • To Freeze: Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 6 months.
    • To Reheat: If frozen, place in fridge overnight to thaw. Reheat in microwave to desired temperature.
