Weekends are family time and we love making a breakfast where everyone can sit down and enjoy. The easier the breakfast is the better. Whether it be a breakfast charcuterie board or a sweet treat like monkey bread.
This monkey bread if one of our favorites to make and couldn’t be easier using a bundt pan, Pillsbury biscuits and a brown sugar glaze. The fun part is picking apart the small individual pieces and eating one by one.

Monkey Bread Ingredients
- Biscuits: I used Pillsbury Grands! biscuits (non-flaky). You can also use store brand or homemade biscuit dough.
- Brown Sugar Glaze: To make the glaze I used granulated sugar, cinnamon, brown sugar and melted unsalted butter.
- Optional Add-ins: Chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts), raisins or chopped dried fruit.
How to Make Monkey Bread with Biscuits
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a bundt pan with non-stick cooking spray. Open the canned biscuits and cut each biscuit into quarters.
Step 2: In a ziploc bag, combine the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Close bag and shake the biscuit quarters in the sugar-cinnamon mixture until evenly coated.
Step 3: Arrange the sugar-coated biscuit pieces in the prepared bundt pan. If you’re adding nuts or dried fruit, sprinkle them in between the layers of biscuits.
Step 4: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter and brown sugar until well combined. Pour this mixture over the biscuit pieces in the bundt pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the biscuits are cooked through.
Step 5: Allow the monkey bread to cool in the pan for about 5 minutes and invert the monkey bread onto a serving platter or plate. Serve warm, pull apart the pieces and enjoy!
