    This Blueberry Crumble Cake is perfect for breakfast, brunch, or any time of day! It’s sweet and fruity with a delicious crumble topping that’s easy enough to make and tastes like dessert from a bakery!

    A Blueberry Crumble Cake is a delicious dessert that will be sure to please your taste buds. This recipe features blueberries and buttery crumble on top. The flavors work together beautifully to create this wonderful dish.

    This blueberry crumble cake has been a family favorite for years and it’s easy to see why. The perfect sweet treat that tastes like summer all year round, this recipe can be whipped up in about an hour. My favorite way to enjoy it is with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Trust me when I say this, “It is Delicious!”. Try it and thank me later. This is an easy dessert that everyone will want to make again and again!

    How to Make Blueberry Crumble Cake

    Tips for the Best Blueberry Crumble Cake

    • Once cooled, refrigerate any leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
    • Make sure to grease the pan with butter or cooking spray so that the batter doesn’t stick to the pan.
    • You can also make this recipe using frozen berries instead of fresh blueberries! Just fold them into the batter after everything has been mixed together but don’t mix too much.

    Cake Ingredients

    1 ½ cups flour
    2 teaspoon baking powder
    ¼ teaspoon salt
    ¾ cup sugar
    4 tablespoons butter
    1 egg
    ½ cup milk
    3 cups frozen blueberries

    Topping Ingredients

    ⅓ cup flour
    ½ cup packed brown sugar
    ½ teaspoon cinnamon
    4 tablespoons butter
    ¼ cup chopped walnuts

    How to Make Blueberry Crumble Cake

    Prep the Oven and Pan

    Preheat oven to 350 F degrees. Prepare a 9 inch square pan by spraying it with cooking spray making sure you get all the way up the sides of the pan and set aside.

    Prepare the Cake

    In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.

    In a separate bowl beat sugar and butter until creamy and smooth. Add the egg and beat well. Alternate adding the flour mixture and milk gradually to the bowl of sugar mixture and beat after each addition.

    Pour the batter into the prepared pan spreading into an even layer. Top the batter with frozen blueberries.

    Prepare the Topping

    In a bowl, combine all topping ingredients and mix until it forms a crumbs like texture. Sprinkle topping over blueberries.

    Bake & Enjoy

    Bake for 40-50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool for 10 minutes and serve warm.

      The recipe says top with frozen berry’s but it looks like they are folded in. I’m using frozen so,how should I do it?

        I placed them on top and used a spatula to spread and push them down a bit into the batter.
