    Banana Walnut Bread

There is nothing like warm banana bread baking in the oven. The recipe makes the most moist and delicious banana bread that I’ve ever had, with plenty for breakfast, a midday snack or for the freezer to enjoy at a later date.

If you want to learn how to make this mouth-watering banana bread, keep reading to learn how!

    Can you Freeze Banana Bread?

Yes, you can freeze banana bread. Freezing baked banana bread is a simple way to preserve it for future use. Freezing also allows you to bake more than one loaf at a time and eat some now, and save the rest for later.

TIP: When freezing banana bread don’t put it in the freezer before it cools completely. This will prevent the bread from freezing solid and make it easier to slice later.

    The Best Banana Bread

If you’re planning to freeze banana bread, be sure to use an airtight container or freezer bag and remove as much air as possible before sealing it. This will help keep the bread fresh in the freezer for up to 4 months.

When you’re ready to eat some of your frozen banana bread, take out the slices that you need, allow to thaw and put the rest back in the freezer. You can even warm it up for a few seconds in the microwave.

Banana bread will always be a classic that goes good with coffee or tea and just about any topping. Try serving it with whipped butter, peanut butter, or freshly whipped cream!

    Banana Bread Ingredients

    Makes 1 loaf

    1 cup sugar
    2 cups all purpose flour

    1 teaspoon lemon juice
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    2 eggs

Add mashed bananas, water, and lemon juice to the bowl and beat together. Stir in the chopped walnuts.

Pour mixture into prepared loaf pan and bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean when interested in the center of the loaf.
