Flag Cupcake Cake Ingredients
- Boxed Cake Mix: I used 1 box to make 20 cupcakes
- Water, Eggs & Oil: The ingredients listed on the back of the cake mix
- Star Sprinkles: I found these at Walmart and just picked out the white stars
- Frosting: Red, White and Blue


How to Make an American Flag Cupcake Cake
- Bake 20 cupcakes according to the package directions and allow them to cool completely.
- Place cupcakes on a large tray or serving board in 4 rows of 5 cupcakes.
- Frost the to left corner 4 cupcakes with blue frosting to create the star section.
- Frost the remaining cupcakes in alternating rows of red and white frosting to create stripes.
- Add white star sprinkles on top of the blue cupcakes.
- Serve immediately or cover until party time.

- Use store-bought frosting to save time (no mixing required)
- If you want cleaner stripes, pipe frosting using a piping bag or zip-top bag with the corner cut off.
- Bake cupcakes the night before and decorate the next day to make party prep easier.
