American Flag Fruit Cookie Pizza next to a blue patriotic napkin

Every patriotic holiday needs a red, white and blue dessert and this one never disappoints. I originally got the idea from my American Flag Fruit Platter, and once I turned it into a cookie pizza, it quickly became a family favorite.

I love bringing this fruit cookie pizza to parties because it’s easy to transport and can feed a large crowd. The blend of sweet cookie, creamy topping and fresh fruit makes everyone want seconds but no worries, there’s usually plenty to go around. You can also cut it into smaller squares to stretch it even further for large gatherings.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Can I make this ahead of time?

Yes! You can bake the cookie base a day ahead, cover tightly and store on counter at room temperature. Add the frosting, fruit and cool whip a few hours before serving.

    Can I use frozen fruit?

No, fresh fruit works best for this recipe because frozen will release too much liquid as it thaws.

Can I make this into a different shape?

Absolutely! You can customize into any shape for any holiday or celebration.
