Pink Starburst Martini Ingredients
- Vodka: A good quality vodka is essential for creating a smooth and flavorful martini. I used Absolut watermelon vodka to get that extra burst of watermelon flavor.
- Strawberry simple syrup: This adds a burst of sweet strawberry flavor to the martini, reminiscent of everyone’s favorite pink Starburst candy.
- Strawberry lemonade: This adds an extra layer of fruity sweetness to the martini. You can use store-bought strawberry lemonade or make your own.
- Pink Starburst candies: These are optional but make for a fun garnish and add an extra touch of pink to the drink.
How to Make a Pink Starburst Martini
Start by filling a cocktail shaker halfway with ice cubes. Then, pour in the vodka, strawberry simple syrup, and strawberry lemonade.
Next, place the lid securely on the shaker and give it a good shake for about 30 seconds and until combined and chilled.
Add 3 or 4 unwrapped Pink Starburst to a cocktail pick.
Strain the cocktail into a martini glass and garnish with Pink Starbursts.
Recipe Variations and Helpful Tips
- Add pink sanding sugar around the rim for an extra pop of color and flavor.
- Make it a slushie by adding ingredients with ice to a blender and blend till slushy.
- Chill martini glass in for the freezer 30 minutes prior to serving to keep the drink cold longer.
- If you’re not a fan of vodka, try substituting it with watermelon flavored rum or tequila.
- If you can’t find strawberry simple syrup at your local grocery store, you can make your own.
- Add a bit of lemon juice to balance out the sweetness if desired.

For best flavor and freshness, it’s recommended to enjoy your Pink Starburst Martini immediately after mixing it together. However, if needed, you can store any leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Just give it a shake in the cocktail shaker before serving.

This looks and sounds SO delicious, but I don’t drink alcohol, do you have a suggestion for a mocktail version? I don’t know if watermelon juice would be very good (although I did recently see a sour, fizzy version of it that might be interesting), and I know watermelon cordial doesn’t exist here. Maybe another flavour would be good? Raspberry is pretty easy to find here. I’m just dying to try something like this now that I’ve seen it! 😍

I haven’t tried a mocktail version of this but maybe a watermelon flavored juice or seltzer might work. Let me know if you try it!
