If you’ve been following the Chaffle trend, you probably know by now that there lots of different foods you can make with a chaffle such as my pumpkin pie chaffle recipe to tacos and more. It’s more than just a waffle with egg and cheese, it a base for most recipes. Fridays are pizza night in our house and I think to change it up a bit with different recipes. Pizza chaffles for dinner! Genius!! I found this easier and tastes better than my fathead dough recipe.
You can keep this pepperoni pizza chaffles recipe basic with just pepperoni or you can add whatever toppings you want to. If you’d like to make the bottom of the chaffle a little bit harder and less floppy try adding a bit of cheese to the waffle maker before you add the chaffle mixture. Enjoy!
What do I need to make chaffles?
To make the chaffles, you’ll need a waffle maker. I like the Dash Mini Waffle Maker because it’s affordable, doesn’t take up much space and easy to use. They have a variety of fun colors to choose from and has great reviews.

What can you make with chaffles?
There are lots of different foods you can make using chaffles such as bread for sandwiches, taco shell, waffles, dessert, crust for pizza and more. They are really just the base for most foods and can be basic, sweet or savory. Just think of what you would use for bread and swap that out for a chaffle instead.
Can chaffles be frozen?
Yes, they can be! You can make them up the day before and eat the next day. Make sure the chaffles are cooled first and then put them in a freezer bag with a piece of parchment paper in between each one to prevent sticking. When you’re ready to eat, you can defrost them on the counter or put in the microwave on defrost for 2-3 minutes.
