    If you’ve been longing for bread while adhering to the keto lifestyle, these cheesy keto breadsticks will come as a great alternative to traditional breadsticks with their delicious garlicky flavor.

    What You Need

    • Mozzarella Cheese
    • Parmesan Cheese
    • Egg
    • Garlic Powder
    • Salt
    • Pepper
    • Italian Seasoning
    • Parchment Paper
    • Marinara Sauce (optional)

    How to Make Keto Cheesy Breadsticks

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
    2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
    3. Using a cheese grater shred the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
    4. In a medium-sized bowl, combine shredded mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic, salt, pepper and egg.
    5. Add the cheesy breadstick mixture on prepared baking sheet and flatten it out in a square or oval shape. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
    6. Sprinkle Italian seasoning over top. Using a pizza cutter, cut into breadsticks and serve with marinara sauce.

    Recipe Tips

    • To keep this recipe low in carbs make sure to shred your own cheese using a cheese grater instead of buying prepacked shredded cheeses that has carbs and added starches.
    • If you don’t have mozzarella or Parmesan cheese readily available, you have the option to substitute one or both with cheddar cheese or any other type of shredded cheese you’d prefer.

    Storing and Reheating

    • To Store: Place remaining leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
    • To Freeze: Allow breadsticks to cool and place in a freezer sealed bag and store in freezer for up to 6 months.
    • To Reheat: If frozen, place in fridge overnight to thaw. Heat to desired temperature in 30 second intervals in microwave.

    How many carbs are in keto breadsticks?

    These keto cheesy breadsticks does not contain almond flour therefore there is 1.04 g net carbs per 2 breadsticks unless you add marinara sauce then the carbs will be more.

    What kind of marinara sauce can I dip these in?

    Sugar-free marinara sauce is best for a ketogenic diet. My favorite brand is Rao’s. It tastes good with no added sugar and less carbs.
