For this recipe I used Rao’s marinara sauce which is keto friendly, all natural, no added sugar, gluten-free and only 3 net carbs per serving. Plus, it has a great taste! Or if you want to make your own low carb marinara sauce you can use this recipe.

Three Cheese Meatball Casserole

Serves 6

Ingredients

24 fresh meatballs (you can make your own or buy pre-packaged ones)
3 cups Rao’s marinara sauce
1 cup ricotta cheese
1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
Italian seasoning to taste

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a bowl add Rao’s marinara sauce and ricotta cheese and mix together. Spread a layer of of the mixture in the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish.

Place the meatballs on top of the layer of sauce. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes or until meatballs are cooked.

In a bowl, add mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, garlic powder and mix together. Sprinkle the cheese mix over the meatballs and bake uncovered for 10 minutes, making sure the casserole is bubbly before you take it out.

Remove the casserole from the oven and sprinkle Italian seasoning over top to your liking. Serve immediately while hot and enjoy!
