    Strawberry Lemonade Margarita

    This Strawberry Lemonade Margarita will be your new favorite summer cocktail. It’s a mix of tequila, strawberry lemonade and triple sec, topped with a dash of salt for a margarita twist.

    Strawberry Lemonade Margarita

    Move over sangria! Put this delicious margarita on the menu instead for your next party or barbecue. Strawberry lemonade is a great choice for a margarita base, and complement each other in this tasty alcoholic beverage. Plus, the flavors are especially popular in the summertime.

    Refreshing, not-too-sweet, takes minutes to make and only uses a few ingredients. It’s so easy!

    The recipe makes one cocktail, but it can be easily multiplied to put in a pitcher and serve a crowd.

    How to make a strawberry lemonade margarita

    Tips for Making Strawberry Lemonade Margarita

    • Use fresh strawberries and lemons for garnish.
    • If you want a substitute for tequila, try vodka instead!
    • You can make non-alcoholic margaritas by adding club soda or sparkling water in place of tequila and orange juice in place of triple sec.
    • Rimming the glass with salt is optional, but recommended.
    • Serve over ice to keep the margaritas cool longer.
    • These are not overly sweet but if you prefer less sweet margaritas then reduce the simple syrup to ¼ cup.
    • Can make it frozen by using a blender.

    Ingredients

    3 ounces strawberry lemonade
    2 ounces tequila
    1 ounce triple sec
    ½ ounce simple syrup
    Ice cubes
    Lemon slices for garnish
    Strawberries for garnish
    Margarita salt to rim glasses

    How to Make a Strawberry Lemonade Margarita

    Add ice cubes to a cocktail shaker filling it halfway.

    Pour in the tequila, simple syrup, triple sec and strawberry lemonade. Shake well.

    Slice a lemon and run it around the rim of your glass coating it well with lemon juice. Dip and roll rim in margarita salt.

    Pour margarita mix into glass and garnish with lemon slices and strawberries. Cheers!
