How to Make Monster Meatball Sliders
Full directions on how to make these sliders is featured below. This is a quick walk through on how it is made.
Step One: Start by adding the meatballs and sauce together in a pan. Heat on medium heat until the meatballs are nice and warm. If your meatballs are raw then cook fully.
Step Two: Cut the cheese into triangles to look like monster teeth.
Step Three: Place meatball on a slider bun, and add teeth in front on meatball.
Step Four: Use toothpicks (be watchful with small children and toothpicks) to add olives on for eyes, and poke into the top of the bun.
Step Five: Serve and enjoy.
Storing Leftovers
If you happen to not eat all your sliders I recommend that you store them in an airtight container in the fridge. If you don’t assemble all the sliders right away you can store the meatballs separately in a container. Then assemble before you serve.
Variations To Recipe
- Use any flavor or style of meatballs you want. Chicken meatballs, vegetarian meatballs, etc.
- Use marinara sauce instead of a spaghetti sauce.
- Swap the spaghetti sauce with a BBQ sauce to make these a BBQ meatball slider recipe.
- Use any flavor of olives for the eyes.
Common Questions
Can I change up what I use for filling in sliders?
Of course. You can even do a simple ham and cheese slider if you want, and still decorate it like a monster. Or do roast beef and cheddar. Have fun and do your favorite sandwich fillers.
Can I make these sliders in advance?
The sauce will make the buns a bit soggy so it is recommended to make them right before you go to serve them. Otherwise, it can leave your buns able to fall apart.
