Homemade Chili Seasoning

This Homemade Chili Seasoning Mix is the perfect blend of seasonings for a variety of foods that’s completely customizable to fit your tastes and needs!

Homemade Chili Seasoning

Homemade chili seasoning is so easy to make! You can use it in soups or stews, on meats and veggies…I even use it to bring flavor to meatballs and meatloaf. Plus, it’s so much better than store-bought and has no preservatives or added salt, sugar, etc.

The best thing about making your own chili seasoning is how versatile it is. Not only can you adjust it to your personal liking, but you can also adjust the ingredients depending on what you’d like to use it for.

Take this recipe and modify it as needed such as adding extra cayenne pepper, cinnamon, or cloves for more flavor or substituting spices for a different flavor profile taking your food from so-so to yum-o in minutes!

Recipe Tips & Notes

  • Adjust the seasoning depending on your dietary needs and spice preference.
  • Make sure to check the expiration dates of the spices used before mixing.
  • Want it spicy? Add some heat by adding some crushed red pepper flakes to the mix.
  • For a more smokey flavor try adding some smoked paprika to the mix.
