Recipe Tips & Variations
- Can use any kind of box cake mix to make the cookies. Chocolate, vanilla, funfetti, lemon and strawberry are some of my favorites.
- Allow the cookies to cool for about 10 minutes before consuming so they don’t fall apart of burn you.
- Get creative and add whatever mix ins you want in the cookies such as sprinkles, chopped candy bars, chocolate chips and more.
- Not all cake mix boxes are the same size and range from 15 oz – 18 oz. No need to alter the ingredients as they will all work the same with any of those sizes.
- Store any remaining leftovers up to a few days in an airtight container at room temperature.

1 yellow box cake mix
½ vegetable oil
2 eggs
Pastel M&M candies
How to Make Cake Mix Spring Cookies
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a bowl, mix cake mix, vegetable oil and eggs together using a hand or stand mixer until you get a cake like batter.
Place a piece of parchment paper on top of a cookie sheet and use a cookie scoop or spoon about a tablespoon of batter onto the parchment paper spacing each cookie about 1 inch apart.
Place the M&M candies on top of the cookies gently pressing down. Bake for 10-12 minutes and allow to cool before eating.
Enjoy as is or with a glass of milk!
