- Pre-sliced mushrooms
- Heavy whipping cream
- Shredded Parmesan cheese
- Salt, pepper and garlic powder
How to Make Bacon Mushroom Pork Chops

Cut the bacon into small pieces and cook in a large pan over medium high heat until bacon is crispy. Set bacon aside and leave the grease in pan.

Place a piece of saran wrap on counter and place pork chops on top of saran wrap. Place another piece of saran wrap on top of the pieces of pork chops and beat with a meat tenderizer until they are flat.

Season both sides of the pork chops with salt, pepper, and garlic powder to your liking. Place the pork chops in the pan with the bacon grease. Cook over medium high heat until the pork chops are 145 F internal temp, turning and making sure they get brown on both sides. Set aside when done.

Drain the excess grease and leave enough to sauté. Using the same pan, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Then add mushrooms and sauté for 10 minutes or until brown and tender. Add in the cheese, heavy whipping cream, cooked bacon, salt and pepper to taste to the pan and mix together and cook over medium heat until sauce thickens.
Serve sauce over pork chops and enjoy!

I am a little confused. The recipe calls for bone in chops. But the instructions say to beat the pork chops till thin. How can you beat them with bones in?
Alison says
OMG! So sorry. This is an error on my part. I just fixed it to say boneless. Thank you for pointing that out. You can also use bone in if you want and skip the beating of it.
Kevin Kevin Goodman says
Yes you can pound out the chop just go as close to the bone as possible it makes a difference.
Anne says
Do you use an 8 oz or 16 ox package of bacon?
Alison says
I used Butcherbox 10 oz package. Any size will work. It just depends on how much bacon you want.
Margaret Franklin says
Could I use boneless chicken instead of pork chops?

I was planning on trying this tonight BUT I just realized I don’t have any cheese 😫 can the cheese be substituted for cheddar?
Lynn says
Super easy and incredibly delicious!! I’m making this for the 2nd time tonight. I add a bit more garlic because we really love garlic. It’s definitely a keeper recipe in our house!!
John says
The recipe ingredients say 1oz of shredded Parmesan cheese. 1oz seems like a very small amount. Is that a typo?
Alison says
It is a small amount about a cupped palm full. You can always add more if you’d like.
Kristina says
This was amazing!! That sauce would be great with chicken too. Oh and I may have put just a little more garlic in it. 🤭
