Sausage, Egg and Cheese Breakfast Rolls

When you don’t have a lot of time in the morning these breakfast crescent rolls are the food to make and the perfect way to start the day. While these are just made with the basics of scrambled eggs, sausage and cheese you can always add or take out what you like. A few ideas to add in the breakfast rolls peppers, bacon, ham or any other kind of meat.

Want to know a shortcut and save even more time in the morning? Make these up the night before and place in sealed bag or air tight container in the fridge. Then in the morning just pop them in the microwave for about 50 seconds and they’re ready to eat. Enjoy!

Ingredients

Makes 8 Breakfast Rolls

5 eggs, scrambled
1 egg yolk
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent rolls
8 fully cooked breakfast sausage patties, cut up into pieces
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Breakfast Rolls

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Heat a skillet on medium heat and cook sausage patties per directions on package. Set aside on a paper towel.

Add butter to a skillet and heat on medium heat. Whisk eggs in a bowl until scrambled while the butter is melting. Once the butter is melted add the scrambled eggs to the skillet and season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook until eggs are fluffy and done. Remove from heat.

Cut sausage patties into bite sized pieces.

Open crescent rolls and lay each one out on a baking sheet. Add scrambled eggs, sausage and a pinch of shredded cheese.

Roll up crescent roll. Brush egg yolk over top of crescent rolls and season the top of each one with pepper.

Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown. Enjoy!
