Using one chocolate half, add apple cider drink mix.
Heat a plate in the microwave for about 15 seconds, carefully taking it out cause the plate will be hot. Take the other chocolate half and smooth and press the open part onto the hot plate for a few seconds to melt the chocolate and twist a bit to smooth the edges. Connect the two half pieces of chocolates together and seal together.
Decorate by drizzling melted chocolate over top and allow to dry. Can sprinkle some cinnamon or sea salt over top of melted chocolate drizzle.

September 4, 2021 at 9:10 pmDid you use the Salted Caramel candy melts and melt in the microwave in 30 second increments stirring in between? If so, it could be the power of your microwave. Since all microwaves are different you may need to reduce the time in between, reduce the power or use a double boiler instead.

September 19, 2021 at 4:05 pmHey there! I love this idea! I’m considering making these and selling them for a church fundraiser. About how much does it cost to make 6 cider Bombs?

October 17, 2021 at 11:42 pmCan you substitute the candy melts with baking chips? I am only able to find baking chips in the salted caramel flavor.

October 18, 2021 at 8:06 amI have not tried it with baking chips before so not sure how the chocolate would hold up from that. You could try and see if it works. May need to add another layer of melted chocolate to thicken it up. I’ve seen the salted caramel melting wafers at Hobby Lobby, Michaels and Walmart. Not sure if you have any of those nearby.

November 6, 2021 at 10:11 amThis sounds like a wonderful idea! I think I’m going to add Red Hots candy to mine. Either in the contents with the cider mix or on the outside for decoration. Or maybe both!
