Is it safe to say you need to use seedless blueberries and raspberries? My attempt at this was ruined 😔
Alison says
I used frozen of each. None were seedless. What happened to yours?
Stefani says
I used fresh raspberries and blueberries as they were what I had on hand but it still turned out yummy! Thank you!!

I used raspberry syrup instead of fresh berries and it works well because the seeds disappear just like a normal grimace shake.

I’m going to add tasteless protein powder! One scoop is 25grams of protein. I add it to many dishes I cook. My family is none the wiser. 🌞
Alison says
That’s a great idea!
Shane Mendel says
Tasted good but not remotely close to a grimace shake. It’s a great berry shake but that’s it.

I recently made this grimace shake for my grandchildren using this recipe and they absolutely love it! My grandchildren have been begging me for the grimace shake after the new McDonald’s Grimace Egg toy came out, they were sad when the Grimace Egg and the Grimace Shake were discontinued. My grandchildren have told me the flavor is absolutely spot on and told me it is indistinguishable from the real Grimace Shake! I absolutely love what you have done Alison, thank you! I will be making this again in the future for my grandchildren.

Although some may believe that the grimace shake is beatable and can be improved on, it can not be. I know first hand, now listen to me. Grimace is the love of my life and I love him. If you love this shake, I suggest grimcest as an extra.
