
This Red, White, and Blueberry dessert is a great addition for your 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day or just a patriotic party. It consists of 3 layers of goodness and when combined it’s like a firecracker in your mouth. Well not really but it’s delicious! I make it often cause my family is always asking for it and it’s also easy to make. Enjoy!
Red, White, and Blueberry Dessert
Ingredients
1 box strawberry gelatin
1 box blueberry gelatin
2 packages unflavored gelatin
1 cup sugar
1 cup evaporated milk
1 8 oz package cream cheese
1 pint of blueberries
Directions
Prepare one layer at a time in an 8 X 8 glass pan.
First Layer: Mix strawberry gelatin as package directs and chill for 4 hours.
Second Layer: Combine sugar and evaporated milk in a pan and heat. Mix in unflavored gelatin. Put all ingredients from pan in a blender and add cream cheese and blend till thoroughly mixed together. Pour on top of first layer and chill for 4 hours.
Third Layer: Mix blueberry gelatin in 1 cup of boiling water until dissolves. Pour on top of second layer and add 1 pint of blueberries and chill for 4 hours.
Take out of fridge, cut into squares and serve!
Note: If you don’t have strawberry gelatin on hand you can always use cherry gelatin or something similar. Feel free to mix up the flavors anyway you like them.
