    These Italian Grinder Sliders are the perfect bite size sandwiches packed with deli meats, cheeses, toppings and more. Serve as an appetizer or as a meal!

    Italian Grinder Sliders

    When I was making my Italian Grinder salad, I thought this would be great on sliders. And I was indeed right!

    It’s the easiest food to make for a party and make them all the time for a football watching party, get togethers and more. Everyone loves them and they leave you feeling full since they are packed with Italian meats, cheeses and the best dressing ever.

    Serve them up right out of the baking dish or place on a platter for everyone to grab!

    Italian Grinder Sliders Ingredients & Substitutions

    For the sliders:

    • Rolls: I used Hawaiian rolls to make them sweet but you can also use any kind of slider buns rolls.
    • Deli Meats: For this recipe, I used ham, salami and pepperoni but you can your favorite deli meats.
    • Seasonings: Butter and Italian seasoning is all you need to glaze the top of the buns.

    For the salad & dressing:

    • Salad: Lettuce, red onion and tomato is what was used to create the salad.
    • Dressing: Mayo, red wine vinegar, banana peppers plus juice, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning and garlic powder makes the grinder salad dressing.

    How to Make Italian Grinder Sliders

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    Slice Hawaiian rolls horizontally and place in a baking dish. Layer with provolone cheese, pepperoni, salami and ham.

    Place tops back on rolls and cut rolls thoroughly. Mix together melted butter and Italian seasoning and brush on top of rolls. Bake for 20 minutes.

    While rolls are baking mix together grinder salad. When sliders are done, remove tops from each one and place grinder salad on top of each one.

    Place tops back on, serve and enjoy.

    Helpful Tips and Variations

    • Use whatever deli meats and cheeses you’d like for this recipe.
    • Don’t want sliders? Turn it into regular size sandwiches or enjoy as a salad.
    • Use store bought Italian dressing if you’re short on time.
    • Adjust dressing to taste and customize to your liking.
    • Double or triple for large gatherings.
    • To prevent sogginess, layer cheese on the bottom before adding the meats, toppings and dressing.

    How to Store

    Place leftovers in an airtight container. Store in the fridge and consume within 1-2 days.

    Ingredients
      

    For the Sliders:

    • 1 (12 count) Hawaiian rolls
    • ¼ lb ham
    • ¼ lb salami
    • ¼ lb pepperoni
    • 2 tablespoons butter melted
    • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning

    For the Salad & Dressing:

    • 8 ounces shredded lettuce
    • ½ large red onion thinly sliced
    • ½ cup mayo
    • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
    • ½ cup banana peppers + 1 teaspoon banana pepper juice
    • ½ teaspoon salt
    • ½ teaspoon pepper
    • 1 large tomato diced
    • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
    • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

    Instructions
