I recently visited Bowling Green, KY with my family and stayed at the Country Inn & Suites on Wall Street. The location of the hotel is right off the highway and in the middle of local attractions, restaurants, and shopping even some within walking distance.
Arriving at the location is warm and inviting as you can sit in lobby area that looks like your living room and read the paper or sit by the fire if it is lit.
The rooms are a modern style room with beautiful furniture. We had a 2 double bed room with a pull out sleep sofa. The room was plenty spacious for my family of 5 and the layout was set up nice so we could spread out. At the front of the room is set up like a living room complete with a TV, chair, sleeper sofa, desk, and small kitchenette area. Walking to the back of the room you will find 2 closets, a bathroom, and the bedroom area with 2 double beds and a TV.
Each morning you can head down to the lobby area for a complementary breakfast. The breakfast is filled with a variety of items to choose from such as bagels, muffins, cereal, fruit, waffles, coffee, and more. For a free breakfast this was outstanding and filled us up for each day we were sightseeing. The breakfast is from 7:30 -10AM so there is plenty of time to get in a good meal for the day.
Need to relax? Try the comfy seating area in front of the hotel that looks like your front porch equipped with wicker patio furniture. It is nice area to sit on a cool, crisp day. Or if you want to take a dip in the pool or jacuzzi stop by the pool area just behind the lobby. It is an enclosed pool that is big enough for the whole family to swim in.
Country Inn & Suites nailed it by making the hotel feel comfortable and just at home. Their finishes touches you will find in and around the hotel are homey.
