These Air Fryer Apple Crisp Slices are the ultimate shareable fall comfort food paired with a delicious cream cheese fruit dip!
The air is getting colder and the fall crisp is setting in so you know what that means. It’s time for comfort foods and the smell of fresh baked apples throughout your house. For this recipe, I piggybacked off of my Apple Pear Crisp recipe but wanted to make it more of a shareable dessert.
After playing around with ingredients, I finally nailed it the third time and was a hit in our house. I think this would make a great appetizer for a fall party or gathering paired with the delicious cream cheese fruit dip. It’s also great to make after a day of apple picking at the apple orchard or when you picked up fresh apples from the farmer’s market.
For this recipe I used my favorite Ninja Foodi air fryer or you can use any air fryer that you already have. Using an air fryer will cut down the cooking time, tastes better and be healthier. Enjoy!
What Kind of Apples are Best for Apple Crisp?
For the best tasting apple crisp, use a tart apple that is firmer like granny smith apples. You can also use a crisp and juicy kind of apple such as honey crisp, fuji or gala apples.

How to Make Air Fryer Apple Crisp Slices
Peel, core and slice apples into half moon shapes. Add the sliced apples into a bowl and pour the lemon juice over them coating them evenly. This will help stop the apples from browning.
