The top 3 appetizers to bring to a party are pigs in a blanket, spinach artichoke dip and deviled eggs. They’re always the first to disappear, crowd favorites every single time and easy to transport.

There are many ways you can make spinach artichoke dip from baking it in the oven to cooking it on the stovetop or in a slow cooker but when you are in a pinch, the Instant Pot is a lifesaver and gets it done in about 15 minutes. No thawing, no chopping and no complicated prep work. Just toss everything into the pressure cooker and let it do all the work for you.

Serve it with crackers, sliced bread, tortilla chips or fresh veggies and you have the perfect appetizer for potlucks, game days, holiday gatherings and parties.

        Helpful Tips

        • If using frozen spinach and artichokes, there is no need to thaw first, the Instant Pot will take care of that.
        • For extra cheesy dip, add in additional cheese like mozzarella or parmesan.
        • Want a little heat? Add in diced jalapenos or red pepper flakes.
        • If dip is too thick, add in a splash of milk until desired consistency is reached.

        Storing Leftovers & Reheating

Store leftover dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave in 30 second intervals stirring between each until warmed through. You can also reheat in a small saucepan over low heat.

        Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use fresh spinach instead of frozen?

Yes, fresh spinach also works great. Just chop it up and add to the Instant Pot.

Can I make this ahead of time?

Absolutely! Prepare and cook the dip and refrigerate. Reheat before serving and stir well to restore the creamy texture.

Can I make this without a bread bowl?

Of course! Serve it in bowl with crackers, baguette slices or vegetables on the side.

        Can I double this recipe?

Yes, but make sure not fill the Instant Pot past the max fill line. You may need a bigger Instant Pot.
