Spend a day in Put in Bay, Ohio and explore all it has to offer!

Put in Bay AKA “Key West of the North,” is known for its entertainment scene, historic sites, and breathtaking water views.
Put in Bay is a four mile long island on the south shore of Lake Erie. The village was originally settled by Native Americans who used the island as a fishing and hunting base. In 1784, the village was named “Put-In-Bay” after the shape of its bay harbor.
Today, Put-In-Bay is a popular summer resort destination for tourists from all over the Midwest. The village has a variety of shops, restaurants, and bars, as well as several hotels and bed & breakfast inns.
There are also several historical attractions on the island, including Perry’s Victory and International Peace Memorial, which commemorates the Battle of Lake Erie during the War of 1812.
With so much to do it’s easy to fill up your day at Put in Bay, here are some suggestions that you might find helpful!
