❤ Why You’ll Love This Recipe

    • Only a few minutes of prep
    • Budget-friendly family dinner
    • Makes fantastic leftovers for sandwiches, wraps or rice bowls
    • One pot meal with easy cleanup
    • Easy to pair with whatever sides you already have on hand
    • Great for those days when you don’t feel like cooking
ingredients shown: Pork Tenderloin, Beef Broth, Brown Sugar, Butter, Smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, Italian seasoning, salt and red pepper flakes

    Ingredients & Substitutions

    • Pork Tenderloin: I used 2 pork tenderloins, about 1 pound each. You can substitute with a single larger tenderloin or pork loin but make sure to adjust cook time as needed.
    • Beef Broth: Any brand or variety will work. You can substitute with chicken broth for a lighter flavor.
    • Brown Sugar: Adds a touch of sweetness. Can swap with honey or maple syrup.
    • Butter: I used unsalted as there is already salt added to the recipe.
    • Seasonings: Smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, Italian seasoning, salt and red pepper flakes.

How to Make Crockpot Pork Tenderloin

2 pork tenderloins seasoned on a cutting board

    1. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and all seasonings.

    2. Pat the pork tenderloin dry with paper towels, then rub the seasoning mixture over all sides of the meat.

    3. Place the seasoned pork tenderloins into the slow cooker.

    4. Pour the beef broth around the pork. Slice the butter into pats and place them on top.

    5. Cover with lid and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.

    6. Begin checking the internal temperature during the last hour of cooking. Pork is done when it reaches 145-150°F.

    7. Remove the pork from the slow cooker and let it rest for about 10-15 minutes before slicing.

    ⚡Make It Easier

✔ Use slow cooker liners for easy cleanup
✔ Buy pre-trimmed pork tenderloin to skip prep work
✔ Use pre-mixed seasoning blends instead of measuring spices
✔ Serve with microwavable sides like instant mashed potatoes or frozen veggies
✔ Store leftovers in single portions for grab-and-go meals

    How to Change This Up

    • Add baby potatoes and carrots during the last 3-4 hours for a complete one-pot meal.
    • Stir sliced mushrooms into the crockpot for extra flavor.
    • Add a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce for a deeper, richer flavor.
    • Make the gravy thicker by whisking together 1 tablespoon cornstarch with 2 tablespoons cornstarch into the cooking liquid during the last 15 minutes.

    Helpful Tips

    • Pork tenderloin cooks much faster than pork loin, so be sure you’re using the correct cut.
    • Use a meat thermometer to avoid overcooking.
    • Save the cooking liquid, it makes an incredible gravy over mashed potatoes, rice or egg noodles.
