How to Celebrate Your Birthday at Disney
Disney is already magical enough but celebrating your birthday at the happiest place on earth makes your special day even better. There are lots of things you can do to make your day extra special with my tips for celebrating your birthday at Disney. And the best part is that you don’t have to celebrate on your actual birthday, in fact, you can celebrate it any time you want to!
Personalize a T Shirt
Make a shirt or have one personalized just for you for your birthday. There are plenty of designs to choose from with your favorite characters. I like to find personalized Disney tees on Jane, and Amazon.
Get a Birthday Button
Buttons are free throughout the parks and they have special birthday buttons. All you have to do is ask at one of the stores and they will give you one. Make sure you put it on cause you everyone will make you feel special by wishing you a happy birthday.
Celebrate with Cake
Before you head out to the parks for the day, decorate your hotel room with balloons and celebrate with cake. If you’re staying at a Disney resort you can call and have a birthday cake delivered to your room. Or you can pick one up at a store nearby.
Get a Souvenir
It’s your birthday, pick out something special for it whether it be some new ears, apparel, collectible, pin, etc. There are plenty of choices and shops to choose from throughout the park and outside the park at Disney Springs and Downtown Disney. Want to get some goodies before you head to the park? Mickey Monthly a Disney subscription box brings magical goodies to your front doorstep each month. Each box includes Disney pins, officially licensed Disney items, or Disney Parks items.
Meet and Greet Characters
Find where your favorite characters are and get a picture with them. If you’re wearing your birthday button they will even wish you a happy birthday. You can even use those pictures later to create a photobook or canvas.
Book an Experience
If you’ve never experienced anything like a character dining, VIP tour, seasonal events such as Epcot Food & Wine Festival, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party at Disney World, Halloween Time at Disneyland and more make your day extra special by doing so. If you decide to book something make sure you do it early because reservations do book fast.

You can find a variety of tickets for each park from single day to multi-days from UnderCoverTourist. They are a trusted, authorized site that I’ve used for years, have had great experience with and highly recommend.
