Why You’ll Love FEET Loaf for Halloween

    • It’s a unique and fun way to serve meatloaf.
    • The feet add a touch of humor to your Halloween meal.
    • Can be customized with your favorite seasonings and sauces.

    What You Will Need

    • Ground beef
    • Onion soup mix
    • Ketchup
    • Milk
    • Onion
    • Breadcrumbs
    • Egg

    How to Make Meatloaf Feet

Step One: To make the feet meatloaf, start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.

Step Two: Mix together the ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, ketchup, milk, and onion soup mix in a bowl.

Step Three: Once everything is evenly mixed, shape it into two “feet” shapes on the lined baking sheet. Make sure to press down firmly so that the mixture holds together well. Form an ankle at the back of the foot and hollow it out for the ankles bones.

Step Four: Slice an onion in half. Cut 10 onion slivers for the toenails. Add the sliced onion cut size up into the hollowed parts. Cut and shape 5 toes on each foot and add toenails. Brush ketchup around the ankle bones to look like blood.

Step Five: Bake for 50 minutes, or until cooked through. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

    Recipe Tips

    • Don’t forget the ketchup! This classic condiment is essential for creating the perfect bloody feet look. Be sure to add plenty of ketchup the top of your loaf before baking.
    • Don’t overmix the meatloaf mixture – just combine until everything is evenly distributed.
    • Let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving so that all of the juices have time to redistribute.
