- Green food gel: I used this brand of green food gel. It’s the perfect green color without mixing additional colors. You can also use neon green or bright green food gel.

How to Make Grinch Puppy Chow
In a stand mixer bowl with a paddle attachment, combine powdered sugar, vanilla, and 5 drops of green food coloring. Mix on low, gradually increasing to medium, scraping the sides until the sugar turns light green and crumbly. Start with 2 cups of powdered sugar, adding up to 4 cups as needed.
Melt vanilla wafers in a microwave-safe bowl according to package directions. Stir in 2 drops of green food coloring and ½ cup of peanut butter until smooth.
Place the Chex mix in a large zip-top bag, pour in the melted chocolate mixture, seal the bag, and shake to coat evenly.
Add the powdered sugar mixture, shake again until coated, then mix in heart sprinkles and holiday M&M’s.
