1 pint heavy whipping cream
1 – 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup key lime juice ( I used Nellies from Key West)
1 lime, sliced
1 graham cracker pie crust
How to Make a Frozen Key Lime Pie
Add a whisk attachment to a stand or hand (this method takes longer) mixer.
Place heavy whipping cream to bowl and blend for 4 minutes (longer if using a hand mixer) on low speed. Adjust to speed 6 as it begins to thickens and resembles whipped topping.
Fold in can of sweetened condensed milk. Fold in key lime juice. Pour mixture into the pie crust.
Top the pie with sliced limes. Place the lid on top of the pie, secure and freeze pie for 6 hours or overnight.
Remove from freezer, cut with a warm knife and serve.
How to Store
Cover and place remaining leftovers in the freezer for up to a month. Thaw overnight in refrigerator before serving.
