Cool off this summer with a refreshing Bomb Pop Cocktail! It’s the All-American drink adults love and only 3 ingredients to make!
The nostalgic Bomb Popsicles bring me back to my childhood days of chasing the ice cream truck to get one. Fast forwards several decades later and you can now buy them in the grocery store. When summer rolls around, it seems like I’m always buying a box to stay cool.
I also think these would be a great addition to a patriotic holiday such as Memorial Day, Labor Day or 4th of July. With the blend of citrus, blue raspberry and cherry flavors this boozy cocktail will be your new summer favorite drink and the hit at your next backyard BBQ.
Why You’ll Love this Cocktail
- Easy to make!
- A great way to cool off this summer!
- Refreshing!
- Fruity flavor!
Recipe Tips & Variations
- Make sure to use a tall glass to hold the liquids and popsicle when placed inside the glass.
- Want to serve a crowd? Make a large batch and put in a pitcher. Garnish each glass with a Bomb Pop when ready to pour.
- Make it a slushy by adding the vodka, soda and ice to a blender. Pour in a glass and add the popsicle. Or you could blend the popsicle minus the stick with the ingredients.
- Optional to add ice cubes.
Make it a Mocktail
Don’t want alcohol? No problem. You can make this cocktail into a mocktail. Just simply eliminate the Smirnoff Red, White and Berry Vodka from this recipe. Or use flavored punches such as a blue raspberry with Cherry 7Up and lemonade. A mocktail version is great for kids to cool off and enjoy around the pool with friends.
