Pizza Slider Ingredients
- Pepperoni: You can use regular size or mini size pepperoni.
- Pizza sauce: You can also use marinara sauce or make your own homemade pizza sauce.
- Mozzarella cheese: Sliced mozzarella cheese is what I used. You can also use shredded mozzarella cheese if you’d like.
- Hawaiian sweet rolls: The sweetness of the rolls makes this taste so much better but you can also use plain dinner rolls.
- Butter: Unsalted or salted and melted.
- Garlic: Minced.
- Oregano: Dried or fresh diced oregano.
- Parmesan cheese: Shredded Parmesan cheese for the tops of buns.
How to Make Pepperoni Pizza Sliders
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray the bottom of a 9X13 baking dish with cooking spray.
Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half lengthwise. Spread pizza sauce evenly on the bottom rolls. Add sliced mozzarella cheese on top, then pepperoni.
Place the top half of the rolls on top. In a bowl, add melted butter and garlic. Brush the top of the rolls with garlic butter.
Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and dried oregano on top.
Cover and bake for 12-15 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Pizza Slider Variations
- You can swap mozzarella cheese for provolone cheese.
- Add more toppings such as cooked sausage, thin sliced bell peppers, diced onion, cooked bacon, crushed pineapple, cooked ham and more!
- Use any kind of blend of cheeses you’d like.
