Grape Salad is the perfect side dish to serve at your next get-together. Sweet, creamy and absolutely delicious!

As summertime approaches, so do all the related activities – cookouts, picnics and more. This grape salad recipe is perfect for any occasion, whether it be a scrumptious dessert or a side dish to accompany the main course.
It takes little time to prepare and can be made in advance, and tastes great cold straight from the fridge. Your family and friends will be amazed at how fabulous it is, and will be asking you for the recipe – but we won’t tell them just how easy it is to make!

Tips to Make the Best Grape Salad
- Find The Biggest And Sweetest Grapes – Make sure your grape salad is delicious by looking for giant, sweet grapes. The more sugar in a grape, the sweeter and tastier it will be. The best ones to look for are Concord grapes or Muscat grapes.
- Soften Cream Cheese – You’ll want to bring your cream cheese to room temperature so it’s pliable and easy to mix with other ingredients. Take it out of its original packaging, and set it on a plate or in a small bowl for about 30 minutes before making your salad. You could also soften it in the microwave but be careful not to overheat it.
- Remove all lumps – Make sure all the lumps are gone and the mixture is nice and creamy. I would suggest mixing the dressing by hand and not with an electric hand mixer so you can keep the creamy consistency. You can also do a taste test here to see if you want to add anything else like sugar or salt. Taste is subjective, so use your own judgement here. Once you have the right balance of ingredients you are ready to mix with your salad.
- Best when served chilled – This salad is delicious, but even better when chilled. Make sure to chill in fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving.

2 Tablespoons Crushed Pecans
2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
How to Make Grape Salad

Add the grapes to the dressing and stir until all grapes are completely covered.
Chill grape salad in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving.
When ready to serve, mix the brown sugar and crushed pecans together in a bowl to form a crumb topping.
Sprinkle the pecan-sugar mixture over the grape salad. Serve either from the full bowl or individual servings.
What kind of grapes should I use?
Typically, you’ll want to use green or red grapes for your salad. Stay away from any grapes that are overly ripe as they can make your salad unappetizing. However, feel free to experiment with different kinds of grapes—you might be surprised at how great a sweet-tart mix can taste in your recipe!
How long will grape salad last in the fridge?
Grape salad can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Can you freeze grape salad?
You do not want to freeze grape salad. It does not freeze or thaw out well. Best suggestion is to refrigerate it and use within a few days.
