Better than Take Out
Everything tastes better when made at home like these Crunchwraps. You can easily adjust them to how to desire by adding and removing toppings as you wish. If you want to make them healthier, you can also do that by swapping out some ingredients (like low carb tortillas, homemade taco seasoning and more) to fit your healthy lifestyle. That’s the best part of making them at home. And you can have them whenever you want!
Crunchwrap Supreme Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
Taco seasoning packet
5 burrito flour tortillas
Tostada shells
Shredded lettuce
Shredded cheese
1-2 tomatoes, diced
Nacho cheese sauce, warmed
Sour cream
How to Make a Crunchwrap Supreme
In a non-stick skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain fat and add ⅓ cup water plus a packet of taco seasoning (or make your own) on top. Simmer 3-5 minutes or until thickened.
Heat nacho cheese and tortillas in the microwave until warm.
Build the Crunchwrap
Lay a flour tortilla down flat. Add about ⅓ cup seasoned ground beef in the middle of the flour tortilla. Place warm nacho cheese on top of ground beef (as much or as little as you want). Add the tostada shell on top. If you want to make it a double triple layer, add another layer of ground beef on top of the tostada shell.
Next add your taco toppings such as shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, diced tomatoes and sour cream.
To fold the crunchwrap, start at the bottom of the flour tortilla and fold the edge up to the center. Continue folding clockwise till you get all the way around the tortilla and it all meets in the middle.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the folded tortilla folded side down and cook for about 2 minutes or until brown. Flip over and repeat on the other side.
Eat warm and enjoy!
