What is a Candy and Lottery Ticket Bouquet?
A Candy and Lottery Ticket Bouquet is an assortment of candies, chocolates and scratch off lotto tickets arranged in a bouquet-like fashion.
Supplies Needed
- Chocolates: You can use any type of chocolate you prefer – Hershey’s Kisses, full or fun-sized candy bars, M&M’s, etc.
- Candies: Choose a mix of candies in different shapes and sizes. Lollipops, gummy candies, and other small treats work well for this bouquet.
- Scratch-off Lottery Tickets: You can purchase lottery tickets at most convenience stores or online. Choose a variety of tickets with different price points and games.
- Skewers or Sticks: The amount will depend on how many candies and lottery tickets you want to include in your bouquet.
- Container: This will be used to hold the bouquet. You can use a traditional flower vase or get creative with a bucket, basket, or jar.
- Ribbon: 1 roll of ribbon to tie around the bouquet or you can purchase a premade bow to attach to the basket.
- Paper Filler: 1-2 bags of paper filler or shredded paper to fill the container around the skewers and floral block.
- Tape: Clear tape to secure the lottery tickets to the skewers or sticks.
- Glue Gun: To attach the candies to the skewers.
- Styrofoam or Floral Block: 1 block of styrofoam or floral block to hold the skewers in place.
How to Make Your Own Candy and Lottery Ticket Bouquet
Begin by attaching the candy and lottery tickets to the skewers using tape or glue.
Place a floral or styrofoam block in the bottom of your container. May need to add some bags at the bottom first to make it higher up.
Place the skewers or sticks throughout the block and arrange it however you want. Usually larger items in the back and smaller in the front.
Arrange to different heights to be able to see it all. Fill the container with decorative paper filler.
Personalize it for the special occasion with dollar bills, small balloons, ribbons or bows. You can also wrap it in cello wrap if you’d like.
Different Variations of Gift Baskets
- Omit the candy and just create a lotto ticket bouquet.
- Create a candy only gift basket filled with chocolate bars and candies.
- Instead of scratch off tickets, add Keno tickets or a mix of the two.
- Add different ticket denominations for a variety of options.
- Make money flowers and add them throughout the basket.
