Candy Corn Hot Chocolate Ingredients
- Whole milk: 3 cups, for a rich and creamy hot chocolate.
- Heavy whipping cream: Half of a cup to make the drink extra smooth and creamy.
- White chocolate chips: I like to use the Ghirardelli brand but any brand will work.
- Candy corn: A 3.5oz. bag for a classic candy corn taste.
- Salt: I like to use Kosher salt but sea salt or table salt will work too.
- Optional: Whipped cream, candy corn marshmallows, Halloween sprinkles

How to Make Candy Corn Hot Chocolate in the Crockpot
1. Add the ingredients. Pour the bag of candy corn, then bag of white chocolate chips, followed by whole milk, heavy whipping cream and salt. Stir.
2. Cook on LOW. Cover and cook on low for 2 hours, stirring occasionally, until the white chocolate and candy corn is fully melted and smooth.
3. Serve and enjoy! Ladle the hot chocolate into mugs and top with whipped cream, candy corn marshmallow and Halloween sprinkles if desired.
Tip: Once the hot chocolate is ready, switch your crockpot to the WARM setting to keep it ready for serving during your Halloween party.
Helpful Tips
- Use good quality white chocolate. The brand you use may differ in the taste of your hot chocolate. Some may have a vanilla taste rather than white chocolate so be sure to read the package first.
- Cook on LOW. Avoid using HIGH heat because white chocolate and dairy can burn or separate if it gets too hot.
- Stir occasionally. This helps the candy corn and white chocolate melt evenly without sticking to the bottom.
- Use a large enough crockpot. A 6-quart or larger works well for this recipe.

How to Store Candy Corn Hot Chocolate
If you have leftovers, allow it to cool slightly and transfer it to an airtight container. Refrigerate for up to 3 days. Reheat in microwave to desired temperature.
