Time is precious and every little chance you get to check something off your “to do” list is one step closer to getting done. We know being a mom is hard! There are so many other things you could be doing besides cooking elaborate recipes for dinner. Have no fear – On-Cor offers family friendly entrées with super easy instructions, just pop it in the oven and you’re done. They take about 45-60 minutes and in that time you can check off some things.

8 Productive Things You Can Do While Dinner is Cooking

Do the dishes.
Load or empty the dishwasher while waiting. Luckily On-Cor meals won’t create too many dirty dishes as you can just pop it in the oven using a baking sheet and then use paper plates to serve. Easy-peasy!

You’ve got 45-60 minutes till your meal is done so why not sneak in a quick workout while waiting. It’s a great way to relieve some stress from a long day and then you won’t feel guilty taking an extra bite of your On-Cor meal.

Prepare for tomorrow.
Lay out the clothes for the family for the next day, pack lunches, go over homework, etc. Having this done will make the morning less stressful.

Throw in a load of laundry, fold, dry, iron or hang up clothes during the time you are waiting for dinner.

Grocery List.
Make your grocery list and add things to it as you go through your fridge and pantry.

Create a side dish.
No need to stress about going in different directions trying to get all the food done at the same time. With On-Cor meals there is no worry. Pop in the oven and create whatever side dishes you want with your meal such as garlic bread, potatoes, pasta, etc.

Clean out a cabinet or junk drawer.
While you’re in the kitchen this would be a good time to clean out your junk drawer or even a cabinet and organize it. Start with a small section so you’re not overwhelmed and don’t have a mess left when dinner is done.

Play a game.
If you need to keep the kids occupied till dinner, play a game until it’s done. Any game will do from cards to board games and it’s a great time to bond with the family.

They are plenty more things you can accomplish while waiting for your On-Cor meal to be done as these are just a few examples. Use the time wisely and your “to do” list will get shorter and shorter as the week goes on.

On-Cor has a simple mission—to offer quality, multi-serve entrées of popular flavors and varieties that everyone loves. We tried the 6 Breaded Chicken Parmagiana Patties with Tomato Sauce and it was delicious. Pairing it with some homemade cheesy bread made the meal complete.

With new packaging and recently enhanced products they provide taste satisfaction, convenience and quality dinners for busy families. Life’s demanding enough. Dinner shouldn’t be. On-Cor does the prep work, so you can take care of other to-do’s that need to-doing. On-Cor is just a freezer away for an always easy, always satisfying and always ready solution for “one of those nights.”

For your next family meal, head to the freezer aisle of Kroger or check out the store locator at to pick up one of On-Cor’s entrées.
