    Ingredients Needed

Oreos – You can use any flavor of Oreos you would like. Mint Oreos, double stuffed, peanut butter, etc.

Almond Bark – Almond bark or candy melts both work for this recipe. You will melt the chocolate as directed on the package.

Peanut Butter Cups – Reach for the mini peanut butter cups. This is going to be to the top of the ornament. The mini’s are the perfect size.

Christmas Sprinkles – Get creative and decorate your Oreos anyway you want.

    How to Make

Step One: Start by melting your white chocolate in the microwave, stirring until smooth and melted.

Step Two: Next you will dip an Oreo in the almond bark, coating the cookie. Let the excess chocolate dip off.

Step Three: Place cookie on parchment paper. Then you will decorate each cookie after you dip, as the white chocolate sets up quickly.

Step Four: Place a mini Reese’s cup on the side of the cookie for the top of the ornament.

Step Five: Next you will add sprinkles, and decorate as you would like.

Different Ways to Decorate White Dipped Oreos

Here are different candies to use to decorate your ornament white dipped Oreos. These are ideas, but feel free to get creative and use what you have.

    • Mini M&M’s
    • Sixlets
    • Rolo (replace peanut butter cup for the topper)
    • Licorice Strings
    • Mini Chocolate Chips
    • Dried Fruit
    • Etc.

    Storing

Room Temperature – You can store any of the cookies in an airtight container, on the counter. These will last for around two weeks, when stored properly.

Freezing – Did you know you can freeze these Christmas Oreo cookies? Simply place in a freezer container and freeze for 4-5 months. Then thaw on the counter at room temperature.

Can I make these cookies in advance?

This is a great make ahead dessert! Go ahead and make these 1-2 days in advance of when you want to serve up these cookies. Simply make, and store in an airtight container.

Can I use colored candy melts?

Go right ahead and use candy melts that are colored in replace of almond bark. Get creative and make one-of-a-kind ornament cookies. Just melt the chocolate the same and dip.
