Next time you are headed to Orlando, Florida and looking for a place to stay, Fairfield Inn and Suites Orlando in the Marriott Village is the place. It is close to major attractions such as Disney world, Universal Studios, Seaworld and more. While it may not be located on property of these attractions it is the perfect spot if you want to be away from the crowds of the parks.
You will find the hotel within walking distance to several restaurants and slightly hidden away from the Orlando tourists areas. One thing that I loved about the hotel is that is that the parking lot is patrolled regularly by the LP Dept for safety and security of the guests. While I didn’t feel unsafe at the location but it is nice to know they carefully monitor who comes and goes.
Inside the village you will find other hotels such as Courtyard Orlando Lake Buena Vista and SpringHill Suites Orlando Lake Buena Vista. This is a great opportunity to do some pool-hopping and try out the different restaurants between each hotel during downtime. Being that there are several hotels located within the village means more choices for food, drinks, and extra special treats such as Starbucks, Edy’s Ice Cream and more which makes it nice if you don’t feel like leaving the property. Or if you don’t feel like leaving your room they also offer room service which I got while visiting and it was delicious.
Also offered each morning is complimentary breakfast. They had so many choices to choose from such as eggs, sausage muffins, and more. My favorite was the daily dose of Mickey waffles which you can make on your own at the waffle station. I sure do miss those since I left.
I stayed in the “King Guest Room” which consisted on 1 king bed, desk, coffee maker, mini fridge, TV, outlet with dual voltage adaptors, free Wi-Fi alarm clock, chair, hair dryer, shower/tub combination, air condition, closet to hang clothes, iron and ironing board. The room was comfy and cozy with the color palette of teal, brown, and yellow. It was the perfect size for me and plenty of desk space to get work done while visiting.
Also on-site is a fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment, swimming pool with a children’s splash zone and a ping-pong table. If you forgot something at home or want a late night snack visit the Market in the lobby where they sell snacks, beverages, toiletries, and more.
And if you don’t have tickets to the parks, don’t worry as they offer attraction tickets for purchase in the lobby in addition to the free shuttle service to popular Disney theme parks including EPCOT®. Universal Studios, SeaWorld, water parks and shopping at the Orlando Premium Outlets.
Thanks to Fairfield Inn and Suites Orlando in the Marriott Village for providing me with accommodations in exchange for my honest review during my visit. All opinions are my own.
