These Baked Mozzarella & Parmesan Meatball Sliders are a great game day appetizer that is so good, you’ll have more than just one!
This is one of the easiest finger food to make and most requested for the Big Game, parties, potlucks, and more. You can make as many you want depending the number guests simply by just adding more meatballs, cheese, marinara sauce and sliders buns to the recipe.
So how do you make this dish? It’s simple by layering the toppings on a slider bun topping it with Parmesan cheese and baking. It’s that easy! If you don’t want to use Parmesan cheese for the sliders, you could also use Mozzarella , Provolone or Pepper Jack cheese.
Baked Mozzarella & Parmesan Meatball Sliders
Ingredients
Makes 12 Sliders
Slider buns, 12 count
12 Meatballs, cooked
Olive Oil
1 cup Marinara sauce
¼ cup Parmesan cheese
Italian seasoning
½ bag Mozzarella cheese
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Cook meatballs per package directions.
Add a layer of the bottom half of the slider buns in an 11 X 13 casserole dish. Spread marinara sauce on the bottom half of each slider bun. Add meatballs to the buns and then sauce on top. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over top.
Add the top to each bun and brush the tops of each bun with olive oil. Sprinkle Italian seasoning over the tops of the bun and then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Cover and bake for 10 minutes. Remove foil and cook for another 10 minutes.
Serve immediately!
