Rice Krispie Treat Bunnies

Take a boring Rice Krispie Treat and turn it into a bunny for an Easter Treat. These Rice Krispie Treat Bunnies are great for the whole family can enjoy. Use the simple ingredients to make the rice krispie treats and then use a rabbit shaped cookie cutter and decorate. It’s that easy!

Rice Krispie Treat Bunnies

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 cup Rice Krispies Cereal
  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • 10.5 oz Marshmallows
  • 1/8 cup Pink Candy Melting Chips

DIRECTIONS

  1. Grease a jelly roll pan.
  2. In a medium to large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  3. Add the marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Add the Rice Krispies cereal and stir until cereal is well coated.
  6. Allow to set about 4 minutes.
  7. Butter a your hands and press mixture into prepared pan.
  8. Allow to set before cutting into bunny shapes.
  9. You can optionally dip the tops of the bunnies in white or dark chocolate prior to decorating.
  10. Allow to set.
  11. Plave pink chips in the corner of a zippered sandwich bag.
  12. Melt candy my microwaving for 45 seconds and kneading until melted and smooth.
  13. Clip small corner of bag to pipe.
  14. Use melted chocolate to accent each treat with a tie or pink tail.
