This Instant Pot Cranberry Sauce is a must-have at the Thanksgiving table. It is incredibly easy to prepare and provides just the perfect amount of sweetness to a plate full of delicious food, such as sliced turkey, stuffing, and potatoes.

    Instant Pot Cranberry Sauce

No Thanksgiving meal is complete without a side of cranberry sauce. The touch of fresh sweetness goes with everything else on the plate. While you may have had your fair share of cranberry sauce from a can, this recipe is far better than you can imagine, and it is one that you will want to start making each time you are preparing a Thanksgiving meal.

    Easy Homemade Cranberry Sauce

If you thought it was hard to make fresh cranberry, think again! Make this easy homemade cranberry sauce in minutes with the Instant Pot and have it freshly prepared to eat with the family for Thanksgiving dinner and all other special occasions.

How to Make Instant Pot Cranberry Sauce

Make this Instant Pot Cranberry Sauce with ease while using just a handful of ingredients, including fresh cranberries, orange zest, orange juice, and cinnamon. Rather than going through a lengthy process to prepare your sauce, you can put your ingredients together in the Instant Pot and make this sauce within just a few minutes.

    How to Store Cranberry Sauce

You may want to know how long does cranberry sauce last after you have prepared it. If you put the sauce in a glass container or a plastic container with a lid on it, you can keep it stored for up to two weeks at a time. You will need to put your Instant Pot Cranberry Sauce in the fridge to keep it as fresh as possible. Putting the cranberry sauce in the freezer is also an option if you would like to save it for up to two months. Make it in advance and freeze it until you need it!

    Cranberry Sauce Ingredients

    Serves: 6-7

    2 cups fresh Cranberries
    1 cup sugar
    Orange zest from 1 orange
1 cup fresh orange juice, no pulp
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    1 teaspoon allspice
    Pinch of salt
    ½ tablespoon vanilla extract

How to Make Cranberry Sauce in an Instant Pot

Wash the cranberries and allow to dry, set to the side.

Turn your Instant Pot “on” to saute. Add the cranberries, orange juice, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon. Stir to combine.

Lock the instant pot lid and move the valve to “sealing” position. Press the high-pressure button on your instant pot to manual high for 3 minutes.

Allow it to natural pressure release for 10 minutes, then carefully do a quick release.

Using a potato masher, mash the cranberries to a jelly consistency.

Select the saute button and stir the sauce until it thickens and reduces in size.

Take the inner pot out of the instant pot and leave to cool completely at room temperature before storing the sauce in a clean airtight jar.

You can make this with any brand of pressure cooker. Doesn’t have to be an instant pot brand.
