Updated January 28, 2021

In honor of Secret Life of Pets 2 out on Bluray, DVD and 4k we are celebrating with a doggy party and homemade dog donuts. My dog was so thrilled to be a part of this with some games, fun, movie watching and taste testing the donuts. We adapted this recipe from Duke’s Doggie Donuts recipe of Secret Life of Pets 2. It’s the perfect recipe for your dog to enjoy while watching the movie with the family.

About Secret Life of Pets 2 Movie

The Secret Life of Pets 2 explores the emotional lives of our pets, the deep bond between them, the families that love them and answers the question: What are your pets really doing when you’re not at home? Terrier Max (Patton Oswalt) is coping with major life changes after Katie’s marriage and the arrival of a toddler, Liam. Meanwhile, Gidget (Jenny Slate) tries to rescue Max’s favorite toy from a cat-packed apartment with a little help from her feline friend, Chloe (Lake Bell), who has discovered the joys of catnip. And Snowball (Kevin Hart) believes, despite the other pets’ teasing, that he’s a superhero after his owner starts dressing him in superhero pajamas. But when Daisy (Tiffany Haddish), a fearless Shih Tzu, shows up to ask for Snowball’s help on a dangerous mission, he’ll have to summon the courage to become the hero he’s been pretending to be.

Yes, you can use wheat flour. I have not tried swapping out for pumpkin so I’m not sure how it will turn out but you could give it a try. Let me know how it goes if so.

I tried these over the weekend and it is almost like it turned into granola…they did not stay together when baked or cooled…basically crumbled in my hands as I tried to pull them out of the molds. They still ate them, going to try again

The only problem i had is that the donuts were very delicate almost breaking in my fingers. How to fix this issue? Id like them to be more firm x
