Texas Toast Cheeseburgers

These Texas Toast Cheeseburgers feature all the classic cheeseburger toppings stacked on Texas Toast, making it a family dinner favorite.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 1 tablespoon burger seasoning
  • 1 (8 slices) box frozen garlic Texas toast
  • 1 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese or more if desired
  • Hamburger dill pickles
  • Burger sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees or set to temperature according to garlic toast box.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place Texas toast slices down butter side up and cook per directions on box.
  • Add ground beef to a bowl along with burger seasoning and combine.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, saute onions until translucent and fragrant.
  • Add the seasoned ground beef to the pan with onions and cook until no longer pink and is browned. Drain any excess fat from the skillet.
  • Spoon the meat mixture on top of the prepare garlic toast and sprinkle cheese over top.
  • Bake for about 5-7 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat to desired temperature in microwave.
