Swiss Cheese Chicken Casserole

Swiss Chicken Casserole is a quick and comforting dish made with tender chicken, swiss cheese, a savory sauce and baked to perfection with a crispy topping.

Ingredients

  • 4 - 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 -10 slices swiss cheese
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • ½ box stove top chicken stuffing
  • ¼ cup butter melted
  • ¼ cup milk
  • Splash white wine

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Spray the bottom of a 9×13 pan with non-stick spray.
  • Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the pan.
  • Put a piece of swiss cheese on top of each piece of chicken.
  • In a separate bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, splash of white wine and milk together.
  • Pour the mixture over the chicken.
  • Sprinkle the chicken stuffing on top.
  • Slowly drizzle melted butter all over the stuffing until coated.
  • Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour uncovered at 350 degrees or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.

Notes

Allow to cool and place leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Reheat in the microwave to desired temperature.
