- Prime Rib Roast 3-4 bone-in
- ½ tbsp garlic powder
- ½ tbsp onion powder
- ½ tbsp pepper
- ½ tbsp salt
Remove the prime rib from the refrigerator 1-2 hours before cooking to bring to room temperature. Place on roasting rack fat side up and season with all seasonings.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F and roast for 20 minutes. Reduce temperature to 300 degrees F and cook (about 20 minutes per pound) until internal temperature reaches 115 degrees for rare, 125 degrees for medium rare and 135 degrees for medium.
Remove from oven, tent with foil and let rest for 30 minutes before slicing.
