Meltaway Cookies

These Meltaway Cookies are easy to make with just 5 ingredients and just like the name, it "Melts in your Mouth". They make great gifts and can be made ahead of time.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • ¼ cup cornstarch

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a stand mixer, cream the softened butter and powdered sugar until smooth. Add the flour, vanilla, and cornstarch, mixing until thoroughly combined and scraping down the sides as needed.
  • Scoop out one tablespoon of dough, shape into a ball, and place on the baking sheet an inch apart. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the cookies are no longer glossy and the bottoms are slightly browned.
  • Let cool and enjoy.

Notes

Place leftover cookies in an airtight container. Store in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw in fridge overnight.
