Chicken Parmesan Sliders

Baked Chicken Parmesan Sliders made with tender chicken, tangy marinara sauce, gooey mozzarella cheese, nestled between soft Hawaiian rolls is a delicious meal the whole family will love. It's quick and easy to make, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1 package pre-cooked chicken tenders about 8 tenders
  • 8 slider buns
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for brushing

Instructions

  • Cook chicken tenders according to package directions before assembling sliders.
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  • Split the slider buns in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  • Place a spoonful of marinara sauce on each bun bottom. Add slices of mozzarella cheese over top.
  • Place pre-cooked chicken tenders on the bottom slider buns. You can cut each tender in half or into thirds, depending on the size of your buns if you'd like.
  • Sprinkle the cheese over the chicken tenders.
  • Place the top halves of the slider buns on top of the cheese.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine basil, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Brush the tops of the buns olive oil and sprinkle seasoning mixture over top.
  • Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the sliders are heated through, and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Serve your Chicken Parmesan Sliders hot, and enjoy!

Notes

  • Refrigerator: Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Freezer: Wrap sliders individually with plastic wrap and store in a freezer bag for up to 3 months. Thaw out in fridge overnight and reheat to desired temperature in microwave.
