Chicken Parmesan Casserole
All the flavors of chicken parmesan in an easy-to-make casserole, perfect for weeknight dinners or family gatherings.

- 16 oz box of penne pasta
- 1 pound of cooked chicken shredded
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese divided
- 1 cup of shredded Parmesan cheese divided
- 32 oz of spaghetti sauce
- Chopped parsley optional
Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9X13 baking dish with cooking spray. Set aside.
Cook pasta according to directions on box and drain.
In a large bowl, mix cooked chicken, pasta, spaghetti sauce, Italian seasoning, half cup of shredded mozzarella cheese and half cup of shredded parmesan cheese. Mix together until combined.
Spread the mixture in the bottom of prepared baking dish and cover with foil. Bake for 30 minutes.
Remove foil and top it off with the remaining parmesan and mozzarella cheese and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Garnish with parsley (optional) and serve!
- Refrigerator: Allow to cool and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
- Freezer: Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to one month. Thaw in the fridge overnight and warm in the oven at 350 degrees.
